About Us


DuPage County Community Services and Addison Consolidated Dispatch Center launched 211 DuPage on November 15, 2022, with support from DuPage County and 211 Illinois.

  • 211 offers expert, caring help. Specialists listen and connect people with local resources.
  • In 2025, 211 DuPage handled 9,946 contacts and 16,317 needs. Forty-two percent (42%) were housing or shelter requests, such as rent help and homeless shelter. Another 18% were for utility payment assistance.
  • Call specialists are local, providing resources right here in our community.

Resource Database Inclusion Plan

Resources must meet the Inclusion Plan. Inclusion does not mean endorsement, and exclusion does not mean disapproval. A trained curator manages resources under national and local standards and reviews each organization annually. New resources come from targeted parity projects.
