Area businesses and organizations honor Veterans with Discounts and Freebies for Veterans Day

In honor of Veterans Day on November 11, numerous restaurants, businesses, and other organizations are offering free or discounted goods and services to active-duty military members, veterans, and their families. Some of the specials honoring U.S. military veterans are available only on Tuesday, November 11, while others are offered for a longer period.

The Military Discount Center and Mission Roll Call have listings of these offers on their websites, military.com and missionrollcall.org.

For additional assistance, Veterans and their families in DuPage County also can call 211 or text their ZIP code to TXT211 (898211) between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
