Cook County Housing Authority opening wait list on November 12 for senior apartments

The Housing Authority of Cook County (HACC) will begin accepting pre-applications on Wednesday, November 12, for the Riverdale Senior Apartments & Summit Senior Living (2) bedrooms ONLY at the following Communities for persons 62 years of age or older:

Riverdale Senior Apartments at 335 W. 138th Street, Riverdale, IL 60827

Summit Senior Living at 7455 W. 63rd Place, Summit, IL 60501

To qualify for the wait list opening:

• The head of household or co-head/spouse must be 62 years of age or older;
• Household will be required to pay rent equal up to 30% of their adjusted annual income or the flat rent applicable to the property;
• Meet Annual Income limits

Applications must be completed online at www.thehacc.org  between 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12, and 4:00 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2025.
