The Housing Authority of Cook County (HACC) will begin accepting pre-applications for the Southern Cook County Housing LLC for one (1) bedroom at the following communities for persons 55 years of age or older:
- Golden Towers I & II, 1704-1706 East End Avenue, Chicago Heights
- Juniper Tower Apartments, 350 Juniper Street, Park Forest
To qualify for this waitlist, the head of household or co-head/spouse must be 55 years of age or older, the household must pay rent equal to up to 30% of its adjusted annual income or the applicable flat rent, and the household’s annual income must not exceed the established income limits. Applicants must complete and submit the application in its entirety to receive an email confirmation. Application status will be available 60 days after the waitlist closes.
Applications open from Monday, July 6, until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2026. Applications must be submitted online only at www.thehacc.org.
