Availability

Temporary warming /cooling center is only available upon request and based on occupancy and restrictions during less extreme heat. Call the Emergency Management Agency (EMA) at 630-350-3461 in advance. For power outages, the facility will be open to the public as a traditional warming / cooling center with mitigations and will be communicated to residents by the village.

Intake Procedure

(1) Schedule an appointment to register for transportation assistance. (2) Complete this form: http://www.bensenville.il.us/DocumentCenter/View/14757/VOB-Ride-DuPage-Application-Form. Allow five business days from the time you send in the application to participate in the program. (3) Once registration is approved, call 1-800-713-7445 to schedule your ride providing at least 24-hour notice when possible. Trips may be reserved up to 7 days in advance.
