Description
Micro food pantry available to eligible individuals and families two times in each month. Items may include oatmeal, nuts, rice, beans and shelf-stable milk that have longer shelf lives and don't need to kept in the fridge.

Copy of DD214 "Armed Forces Report of Transfer or Discharge"; Most recent tax return; Social security numbers for applicant and qualifying dependents; Account numbers for any current health insurance like Medicare, private/commercial insurance, or insurance from employer.
Eligibility
Served in active military service; Discharged under any condition other than dishonorable; Current and former members of Reserves or National Guard who were called to active duty and completed the full period for which they were ordered; Veterans who enlisted after September 7, 1980 or entered active duty after October 16, 1981 must have served 24 continuous months or the full period for which they were called to active duty.

Intake Procedure
(1) Veterans already enrolled in the VA Health Care System can call during listed hours to schedule an appointment. (2) Veterans who are not yet in the system must first either apply online, by phone, by mailing paper application into the main office in Atlanta, or bring the form to the Edward Hines Hospital, including all required documentation.
