        Provides payment assistance for affordable car repair for low-income residents in order to conduct job searches or retain employment.

        People's Resource Center Clients or clients of a partner agency who are actively seeking a job or are already employed. Typical repairs include ignition, brakes, suspension, exhaust, fuel, and tires. Transmission repairs and body work are beyond the scope of this program.

                Description

                Helps unemployed residents of DuPage County find and keep a job. Provides workshops and one-on-one job search coaching. Also partners with area employers to connect pre-screened candidates with employers seeking to hire. Also offers on-demand job assistance workshops and an online jobs board.
