Description
The Adult Protective Services Program (APS) looks into reports of abuse, neglect, exploitation, and self-neglect for eligible Illinois residents living in the community. Case workers providing services at provider agencies throughout the state are trained and certified by the Illinois Department on Aging.

7 days a week, 24 hours a day
Required Documents
Proof of residence in Illinois (driver's license, state ID, mortgage statement, rent agreement, or recent utility bill with name of applicant).
Eligibility
Must be a resident of Illinois; Must be at least 60 years of age, or between 18-59 years of age and living with a disability.
