Provides free legal services to income-eligible persons who live in DuPage County area or are defending a case in DuPage County and are referred by another legal services provider. Represents people in the areas of family law, domestic violence, bankruptcy, adoption, guardianship, tort and collection defense and other areas. Assigns attorneys to assist non-profit agencies who help the indigent.

We adher to federal income guidelines for poverty when determining eligibility for our services.

Intake Procedure
(1) Call the main number for a telephone screening, or arrange an in-person screening. (2) During telephone screening callers will be asked a series of questions. (3) Certain documents will be required to verify answers. (4) Those who qualify for assistance will be assigned a staff attorney or volunteer lawyer.
